Small Square Reporting and Resource Management for a Municipal Government

PROJECT PURPOSE
To perform project management for the analysis and redesign of current processes associated with workload balancing and performance reporting, in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

AULD & COMPANY’S ROLE
Auld & Company is responsible for employing project management methods, tools and techniques related to: BPR analysis and redesign efforts, project planning, engagement with the clients and stakeholders, the facilitation of planning and data gathering sessions, and developing final recommendations.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOCUS
To provide the management necessary to ensure this initiative results in the redesign of several key processes in order to increase flexibility for employees to plan their job tasks and perform them effectively. Focus will also be placed on analyzing policy to identify opportunities to reduce high volume, time sensitive activities. In addition, Auld & Company will assist the team in developing key performance metrics for each layer of management, resulting in changes to the reporting tools used by the organization.

PROJECT RESULTS
Through significant client and stakeholder engagement, the team isolated several key problems related to employee morale, efficiency, and risk management as a result of a deficient workload balancing system and high expectations in service delivery to customers.
